CAS values our affiliations with Florida Institute of Technology, Lean Six Sigma conferences, and various professional organizations.

LSS World Organization: CAS is proud to be a founding partner of the Lean & Six Sigma World Organization. This organization is founded to establish standards for Lean Six & Sigma training and certification. This is important to us at CAS because there are cheap diploma mills out on the web that first of all provide completely inadequate training and secondly do nothing to prepare you to run actual process improvement teams. Our training stands apart from that. It provides a breadth and depth of training unsurpassed by other organizations. We also spend time teaching you about team dynamics and how to facilitate rapid development of a functioning team dynamic. Florida Institute of Technology: CAS offers training such as the Six Sigma Crash Course through a partnership with the Florida Institute of Technology. This course is a 4 day prep class to pass the ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt certification exam. Our students have a near-100% success rate on the exam. It offers detailed training in the ASQ Body of Knowledge, which includes such topics as regression, measurement system analysis, statistical process control and much, much more. American Quality Institute Lean Six Sigma Conference: The American Quality Institute Lean Six Sigma World Conference is an annual conference on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. This year's conference was held March 26-27, 2014 in San Antonio, TX and included participants from 20 countries. Our president, Bonnie Hauge, was the Chairman. Don Johnston, our CEO, and Frank Norris were both speakers at the conference and Don moderated the panel of experts. Frank and Don also taught a Yellow Belt class at the conference site on Friday after the conference. We had 29 students and the class was a huge success as was the entire conference! Space Coast LSS Forum: The Lean Six Sigma Continuing Education Forum was created to help expand the knowledge of participants in the areas of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques. It is both a Linked-In group and a live forum. The inaugural forum was held September 25, 2013. It was attended by Lean Six Sigma professsionals and others who wanted to learn more. Our attendees came from across the Florida Space Coast and from sectors including industry, government, education, manufacturing, services, and healthcare. The event is a mini-conference (4 hours) at a fraction of the cost. Click here to find out more: Space Coast LSS Forum

Project Management Institute: The Project Management Institute (PMI) is dedicated to promoting project management best practices through training and certification. CAS personnel are active members and hold Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. Project management is a key skill, not only for project managers, but also for Lean Six Sigma practitioners. If you can't lead a project you will never succeed as a Lean Six Sigma belt. It is not only about the use of key process improvement tools, but also about leading a team through the successful execution of a project. We support the goals and philosophy of PMI.
